February 15th 2021 ~~ C & C Availability
Good morning and/or afternoon
Brrrrr. It’s freakin’ cold out there this week. To think I was just in the garden on Sunday in my t-shirt, basking in the early season sunshine. February is a tricky one, I guess it’s good to remind oneself you live and Canada and it’s bound to get cold once in a while. Just a reminder that although many of the plants we’ve been shipping are quite hardy, they certainly look better if kept protected when temperatures are cold. Primula and cyclamen are best brought in for the week especially in the evenings to keep them looking their best. Luckily father winter is only supposed to be visiting for a short while; rain and mild temperatures are said to be back starting Monday. Neither rain, snow, sleet, or hail will slow us down. We’ve steadied the course and continue to plant vigorously. Lots of gorgeous plants on this week’s list. My plant pick of the week? Primula malacoides ‘Fairy Primrose’. So cute and colorful. Like a primula denticulata on steroids, absolutely stunning!
Wishing you much success and good health. Stay warm this weekend : – )
